Whole Wheat Pesto Shrimp Pasta
Ingredients: 1 tablespoon of butter, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 package of whole wheat pasta, 1 pound of jumbo frozen precooked shrimp, minced garlic, about 2 tablespoons of pesto sauce.
-Defrost and remove tails from the shrimp
-Heat butter, olive oil and a dash of minced garlic in a skillet. Add shrimp
-Cook Pasta, strain, and return to pot. Add pesto sauce until pasta is fully coated. Pour skillet over the pasta adding all the shrimp and juice from the skillet. Stir, and serve!
*This is a great light pasta dish and it is absolutely delicious! Serve with asparagus or a healthy spinach salad.
